I have provisionally booked some very basic cheap accommodation in the centre of Ischgl for Feb half term next year with a view to spending the money saved on private lessons for my son.
Does anyone have recommendations for specific instructors or should I just message the main ski school directly?

Not Ischgl, But we have used private lessons from the main ski school in Galtur (and other resorts) with success.

We used to ski our kids over the hill to Samnaun for private lessons.It was a lot cheaper.

@T Bar, Thanks that sounds like a good idea, he'll probably be more comfortable on the blues on the Samnaun side and the slopes are sunnier which will probably help him get the most out of the lessons.
